Default Low coolant, what's the problem?

My coolant was low so I did a complete flush and fill. within a few weeks the coolant level dropped again. Other than a bad radiator cap what could it be? A bad gasket or something? What are the best checks to do? I have an LS1 intake manifold and wanted to upgrade to an LS6, could it be a bad intake manifold gasket or something? If that's the problem it will give me the justification I need to but the LS6 intake manifold.

Thanks in advance for any help,
Matt

Maybe your head gaskets. Check your oil fill cap for yellow snotty stuff. A leaky waterpump.
