Default True duals

Ok I ordered my pacesetter lts today 375 shipped. Went to the shop that was going to install the LT's, x pipe, high flow cats, moroso spiral mufflers, and it was going to be dumped before the rear axle. His price was 1100 labor included, keep in mind he ordered everything but the LT's. Do you guys think that is a good deal? Just wondering!

$1100 dumped at the axle is way too expensive in my opinion.

What kind of cats were they going to use?

$1100 to $1300 over the axle and out the back sounds more reasonable.

I agree, $1100 they must be out of their minds. That's how much a good over-the-axle True Dual setup costs, hell the Bassani True Dual kit is less than that!

Default Update

Well, the mechanic called me this morning at work and informed me everything was on sale. So instead of 746.00 for everything its now 546.00 plus labor of course, now I feel a lot better about things. I thought to myself how many other mechanics would've called and told me that?

Now that I re-read your note, was that price including installation of the Pacesetters? And the parts for the True Duals? If so, that's an ok price. Maybe a little on the high side, but more reasonable than I originally thought (I thought that was the price for True Dual labor only). So what's your updated quote, and for what components?

Default updated quote

946.00 for xpipe high flow cats and installation of all including headers. Pacesetter ceramic coated Headers were bought from ls1 speed for 375.00 shipped. So 1321.00 for everything including install!

That's not a bad deal, which includes mufflers. See if you can get some pics!
