Default Whistling and high idle after TB install

I installed a BBK 80mm Throttle Body this afternoon and after putting the car back together I can hear a whistling noise and the idle sits at about 2200RPM. Seems like that would be a vacuum leak? I checked and rechecked all the hoses and everything loks ok. The TB was used and the gasket that goes in between it and the spacer is in rough shape. Could it be that? What do you guys think?

Yes sounds like a vacuum leak. If you are careful, You can spray wd 40 or even just about anything around the throttle body and listen for it to suck it in.

if you spray carb cleaner around the tb and the motor revs then you have a leak
