Default LSX Intake and TB

I'm looking at getting the LSX Intake and the matching throttle body very soon here.

I'm trying to decide which ones to get. They have a 78mm and a 90mm intake and a FAST LSX throttle body of the same size to match it to. My question is, are the gains from going up to the 90mm size enough to make it worth the additional cost?

If not, do other throttle bodies like the BBK flow just as well as the LSX throttle body?

What do you guys think? Thanks!

what plans you got for your car? extreme power head and cam setup? extreme Forced induction build?

I went STS rear mount turbo and got Nick Williams 90mm TB and 90mm FAST intake... and i'm not looking back

I'm hoping to eventually go forced induction. I won't be going that route till all the bolt-ons are done and I have the suspension redone, but that's the plan.

I haven't heard of Nick Williams TB. Might have to look into it. I only know of the FAST LSX 90mm.

Tried to do some searching on the Nick Williams and came up with this:

Do you or anyone else also agree with what some of these people are saying on the LS2 throttle body? Would I be ok in going with an LS2, or should I stick with the original plan and go with the 90mm.

honestly man, you can pick up a NW 90mm TB for ~~400 or so idk what they go for now...but you do it once and do it right. the power will be there and even more power will be there when you go for more upgrades... so do the math...

buy what u want now...some gains.. change it out and buy more later.... or just buy it once and leave it on the car and get FI or whatever done to the car

i will stand by Nick and his work and i will say it is completely worth every damn cent and it will get you the power

I guess I'd be curious to know what the major difference is between the Nick Williams 90mm TB and the LS2 90mm TB.

They look virtually identical.

Check out the PTM 90MM combo from Texas Speed.Don't waste your time with the 78mm.
