Default LS6 Valley with Stock Coolant Lines

Installing my LS6 intake and LS6 valley cover I noticed that the new cover has raised bumps on it, I was planning on keeping my stock coolant lines for better cooling of the #7 cyl. Is it possible to slightly bend the coolant pipes without pinching them or should I just bite the bullet and run the ls6 crossover?

Some people grind the fins on the bottom of the intake.

That's what I planned on doing but I don't think the coolant pipes will lay flat on the new valley cover, I was just wondering if it's possible to bend them without screwing them up.

You can bend them a little without damage, but be careful. I had to bend my LS6 front coolant tube down quite a bit to get the FAST manifold to seat all the way.

Another option is to run two front LS6 coolant tubes, one on front and one on back, then run the hose from the back one all the way up to the front and T it into the line.

BTW, that sig picture totally kicks ***.

That's what I did no issues yet.

Well I think I'll see where the coolant pipes end up in comparison to the bolt..bumps or whatever they are called. If it looks like I can bend them I'll give it a shot, if they break no big deal I'll just buy another LS6 pipe. Thanks for the replies!
