hooker short tube super comps will these really help out that much more over the stock manifolds since they are short tube. or will long tube be alot better of a choice and lot better sound.

Those are shorty headers.
And therefore this is a typical "Long Tube vs Shorty" question.
I wouldn't bother with shorties, others will tell you the same. They really have very little benefit over stock manifolds. Unless you are building a CA emissions legal setup.
