finished installing headers& motor mounts
Well today i finished installing my pacesetter headers and poly motor mounts. The motor mounts were even more of a pain in the *** then the headers were. the passenger header went in first try slipped in like butter. the drivers i had to cut off the tab, so i started then shattered the blade on the sawzall. Kinda scared the **** out of me. So i ended up grinding it down the rest of the way, then they went right in. Im thinking it took me about 12 hours total. not including breaks. If i didnt do the motor mounts im thinkin 2-3 hours. They fit so good, i dont have clearance issues with anything. tomorow i am going to take the EGR and AIR out. I hooked them up loosely just so i could start it. Unfortunately now, i have to wait another 2-3 months before I can drive it again. Now i need to weld up my muffler, and cutout. cant wait till spring!!!
