Anyone ever get a SES light from a new high flow cat?

Default Anyone ever get a SES light from a new high flow cat?

about 2 weeks ago i got a high flow cat and im now getting the p0420 code..wondering if this is normal

Yep,the High Flows Dont Catch As Much Pollutants.

The stock rear O2's have a very narrow margin of readings that they will accept to mean "cat is working, carry on". Get outside of that margin and they start bitching.

You can run some O2 sims (if you can find 'em), or tune them out (and tune out the rest of the emissions crap at the same time).

Yeah, best way out is to delete codes and run cats for appearance and sound.
