Default will 98-00 lts work with 01-02?

hey guys,

i know there is an emissions differance between the 2, but what would i have to do to get the 99 style to fit on my 2001?

this is for the y pipe also, from a 99

98-00 have the EGR hookups and the 01-02's do not. They will work, all you have to do is get some block-off plates.

Easiest thing to do would be to ditch your AIR system, then block off the fittings on the headers and tune out the trouble codes. If you want to retain the AIR systems for some reason, you'll probably have get longer rubber hose to connect to the check valves.

You shouldnt have any problems as long as you dont mind taken a little extra time to get it to fit correctly. I took the QTP headers, their y pipe, and the magnaflow cat back off my 98ss and got all of it to fit on my 02ss no problem. The only thing i had to do was rip out the A.I.R. but who needs that crap any way.
