Default Bassani TD owners...

I have the Dynatech supermaxx system and i'm thinking of ditching my y-pipe and going with the bassani td. what exactly do i need to do to connect the td up with my dynatech longtubes?

well the Bassani TD is made for stock manifolds/cats but you can cut/weld modify. I did when I added SW longtubes. It lined up perfect. Any local muffler shop should be able to fab something for you. BTW, I hope you're running ORY. Bassani X pipe system don't have cats.

Depending on the length of your dynatech collectors. My SW longtubes have about 3" length on the collectors. The passanger side lined up perfect so muffler guy just welded flanges on the header and the bassani pipe but the driver side he had to add 3-4" more to the bassani pipe to weld a flange on both sides.

well i got an 8" off road pipe bolted on to each of my headers. i was hopeing i could just cut the duels back a little and expand the ends to fit over the off road pipes and clamp them. from what you told me it sound like i may be able to pull this off. so the passenger side has the longer side pipe?

updated........i just saw some pics and it looks like the driver side is the longest. it looks like i will have to cut both sides down. hopfully it wont be that bad if i decide to get the duels

Any competant muffler shop should be able to connect the Bassani to anything in a matter of a few minutes. It's a piece of cake.

If you are doing it yourself without a lift, it will be more difficult. Still it's a simple cut and splice.
