Default mounting coil packs

im converting my bbc to ls1 coils and need to know if they require grounding or any kind of vibration isolation mounts. its going to be on a solid roller 468 with a big cam so theres going to be plenty of vibration. the coils are the truck coils with the little heat sinks on the back.

im going to mount them to my valve covers. i dont plan to use the stock brackets, however i do have some. i planed to just drill/tap the VC directly and use spacers to hold the coils up off the cover.

so they do not need to be grounded and they will live ok solid mounted to my valvecovers? like i said this is a big cam motor with motor plates so there is a fair amount of vibration.

heres what its going on. im going to mill the letters off the valvecovers.

they should be ok but as a recommendation if your really worried about vibration why not just use a flat sheet of rubber underneath the spacers?
