Default Catch can Question

Well I have to get a catch can. Problem is, I have some sheet metal valve covers and the passenger side does not have a pcv tube running from it. Could I just run a catch can with a breather on it, or would i need to modify my valve cover? I have an LS6 valley cover.

With the LS6 valley cover, you don't need a PCV connection off the valve cover. See the picture; you would put a catch can between the small 'loop'.
