Don't forget the valley cover bolts. Use the Comp gaskets, they are thicker. Don't over tighten and tighten evenly.

The stock valley cover bolts are too tall. You need a button head design to make clearance.

How about the throttle body cable brackets? Will the stock bracket work? How about a bellows? Will the stock one work? How about an SLP smoothbellows?

Sometimes when you buy the FAST used, the guys don't bother providing the valley cover bolts. In the instructions, it tells you to change them but a lot of guys seem to miss this step in the procedure and crack their intakes as a result.

I did get the new hardware with the intake just not the throttle body to intake bolts.
As for a throttle body do I need a new one???
I'm not really sure.

Well the guy that sold it to me just didn't know what he had. I got the intake today brand new not a smudge on it with intake gaskets, throttle body gasket & throttle body bolts, and all attaching hardware. LIFE IS GOOD AND 90/90 going on this weekend.

Does a 90/90 combo require tuning?

From a tuner here in San Diego, no you don't but you'll do better with it. As with most mods.

Yup I made the mistake of missing that Step didn't read close enough and didn't change the valley cover bolts. Cracked the bottom of my brand new Fast 90 intake manifold. Good thing the manifold is 3 peices so all I had to do is buy the bottom of the intake manifold.
