Default Fuel Pressure Gauge Does No Work While Running??!!

I have a strewart warner electronic fuel pressure gauge and it works normal when the car is shut off but when I start it up the tack will shake then go down and not go back up? I mounted the sending unit to the fuel rail. Do I need to move the sending unit?

If you are going to have one mounted on the fuel rail you need a good quality guage..get one that is oil filled..I had a cheepie on the fuel rail and it lasted about 6 weeks before it crapped out..the vibration must have killed it.

ah, i think you might have left the schrader valve in the fuel rail. its the same type of thing that is in a tire valve stem. make sure you took it out before hooking up the gauge. if u dont have a vale tool. u can use a set of needlenose and unscrew it out...
