Default Cats??? Help

OK so please dont give me some BS answer or try and say this wont sound good or some crap because I've made up my mind and I just want to know the best way to gut my stock cats? If anyones done it could you help me out and tell me the best way to do it!

the best way, cut them right down the middle long ways, scrap all the **** out, and weld them back together.

the most practical way, other than buying hi-flo cats, ORY or dealing with it untill you can afford either, put them on end on the ground and shove a broom stick down through them repeatedly, then beat them to jar loose all the broken **** then blow compressed air through them to get all the stuff out.

Wow i thought the broom thing was a f-in joke!! i think il try that one!! Do i have to cut the y pipe to get them out?? Only asking becasue i didnt look too close at it when I did the catback.
