Default ls2 coil packs?

What kind of modification would need to be done to make it work on a 2000?

you need the brackets for a ls2.....appears that the ls2 coil brackets fit the ls1 valve covers

The wiring harness is different I believe, not just the brackets. Not 100% on this, but I'm fairly sure. They also changed the injector harnesses too.

Don't forget that you'd need a set of center bolt valve covers to put those new brackets on (99+).
