Default uncoated pacesetter ?

Going with uncoated headers how big of a heat difference will there be? Should I wrap them with header wrap? The reason I'm going with the uncoated is because they will only be on the car until the car is paid off then, I plan on rebuilding the car.

I bought uncoated for my GTO and bought a few cans of VHT Flameproof high temp paint...I guess I'll find out how long that lasts
