Just installed SLP lid...
Just got done installing my SLP air lid. It probably took me approximately 25 minutes, because I couldn't get the MAF out, but I finally wedged it out just a tad w/ a screwdriver then pulled it the rest of the way out.
The lid definately made the engine look a lot cleaner/nicer, and it was a perfect fit.
I took it out for a test drive and the car seemed to accelerate smoother and had more horsepower. I could feel a difference accelerating from 2nd gear @ about 15-20 mph up until 35-40.
At WOT it seemed a bit quicker, and i've also noticed my WOT shifting is getting a LOT better
Overall, a good $85 investment, next up some GMMG exhaust

Congrats!
You're hooked, stick a fork in, you're done. Mod bug has got 'ya! lol
Just keep an eye on the underside of your hood, more so on the SS hoods. The SLP lids sometimes rub the underside and could peel the paint off.
Peace,
Craig.
