Installed Exhaust Yesterday - What next?
Finally got my headers on Wednesday after waiting 6 weeks for them to due to backorder. Dynatech Supermaxx system and GMMG catback. It sounds awesome!! OK - Now I'm thinking gears since I have the dreaded 2.72 gears now, but should I do SFC and STB first? What about stall? Cam? I'm thinking chassis stuff, then gears and basic (mail-order) tune, then cam and stall and Dyno tune in that order. Opinions? Oh yeah and since I do a lot of Highway driving 3.43 or 3.72 on gears? What do ya'll think?

3.73's do ok on the highway. If your looking for better 1/4 mile times i would jump on the torque convertor first. Around a 3200 to 4000 is streetable and knocks off close to .5 of 1/4 time. Im in about the same boat as you and currently will be installing sfc soon and then doing torque convertor. I Already have 3.73's though

I would not really worry about 2.73 gears. I am currently running them on my set up, 3800 converter, bolt ons, fm13 cam and a built tranny. Once you get your converter you will forget all about your gears and they will feel fine. I would not touch the gears until you replace your rear end.
