Default Help With tach and shift light install

I need some help with trying to figure out where the green tach wire from the tach needs to go to. I have a 98 T/A.

For a 1998, tap into PIN #35 on the PCM which is a WHITE wire on the BLUE connector.

Ok now do I need to cut the wires on the tach because of a pulse difference? I got the tach/shift light hooked up to the white wire and now it reads like half of the rpms the stock one reads. Thought I heard that somewhere.

They have to be set up to run off of a 6 volt signal and they should be set on 4 cylinder.
