Default Taking top shell of FAST off to paint it

I just got a FAST intake and am wanting to paint the top shell off to have it painted black. The bottom of it is already flat black and I see no point in taking the entire intake in to have it painted. I'm not sure how it comes apart though. Is there anything that I need to know before I take that top shell off, or does it just bolt on there? and what precautions should I take before I take it in and have them spray it? Thanks

You'll just need to remove all the bolts (12 long ones, 3 short in the front and 3 short in the rear). Once you remove the bolts (double check to make sure you got all of them) you can pry the lid off pretty easy. There is a gasket holding the middle to the upper so be careful you don't rip it.
