Air System/ Header Install/ SES light Question
i am going to install my pacesetter LTs this weekend but i was wondering about the air system on the car. there arnt many shops around here that can tune out the codes and the few that are around are charging crazy prices is there any simple ways to turn off the ses light untill i can get the money for a good dyno tune and turn them off then?

Not sure if a handheld tuner can do it, either go to a shop or get something like HPtuners.
By the way, the ses light is just a warning for the air system, you can still drive around the car and it won't hurt performance. I think it might go off after startup and a few minutes of runtime if it's just the AIR and not the EGR, don't quote me on that though.

ya the closest shop that i can find that will tune out the codes is about 150 miles away! and they want about $200!!!! its crazy. and the handhelds that claim to be able to turn off codes are about $400 just seems like alot of money to turn off a little light. i was hoping there was a simple way. i used o2 sims when i gutted the cats to keep the light off i was hopin there was somthing simple like that i could do.
