Default Throttle Body question

I have a stock 02 SS 345hp. Is it worth the effort to port ,polish and mill the crossshaft flat or does this only help on h/c motors.I was told it would be worth about 7 hp, also will this cause SES codes ?

Default Re: Throttle Body question

Following the theory that "every little bit helps" it is not a bad mod.

I did mine myself with a dremel and some aluminum epoxy.

I just took material off the ridge, but was careful not to get too close to the blade area, that will screw up your idle if you mess up...

Then I used the epoxy to fill in the holes, and drilled out the pcv and aic holes.

Good luck!

Tommy
