So the only difference between pre- and post- 2000 air lids is the pre's don't have the port on the driver side for the air tube right? I pulled the air pump system so I'd like to get an intake that didn't have the port for cleanliness. I'd appreciate it if someone could confirm that for me! THanks

You are correct sir. If you don't have AIR you can run any lid.
