Default Unexpected (welcome) side effect of MSD plug wires

Just recently installed MSD's 8.5mm wires (hey they're RED, gotta be good for power right? *L*). They worked, that's all I wanted *L*, didn't think anything more about it....until my CE light as a result of the P0300 code ( I have a Hotcam) stopped lighting! Had the Hotcam installed last year, and as expected from what I've read here, the P0300 code would come on every few days or so usually after a prolonged period of idling. No biggie, I'd just clear it with ATap when the damn dash light'd become too annoying.

BUT it's been a week and a half now since installing the MSD wires and not once has the P0300 misfire code cropped up! And that's again with some long periods of idling - including a half hour stint today just to see if it would come on (hey, slow day!). Nope, no light! Just curing this aggravaion alone is worth the price of these wires!

That's pretty damn cool. I like when stuff like that happens.
