i have them on my car and the fitment is absolutely perfect. most people that knock them have no experience with them. i've had them on for a few months now. they slid in with absolutely no issues like most headers (k member, casting tab on engine block, steering linkage, drain plug, oil filter- all common problems when installing other headers). i didin't have to deal with any of that garbage and they slid in just as easy, if not easier than the stock manifolds came out. the only thing that was a downfall with them are that you have to get the gaskets and bolts for the collectors. the welds and merge inside the y pipe were awesome looking, and the header flanges(that meet the head) are nice and heavy. they have a ton of adjustment to get the clearance you want, whether it's to keep from banging the floor, or more ground clearance, due to the 4 bolt collector flanges. mine hits the floor on the passenger side, but my motor mounts are pretty beat, and i tucked the y up as close as i could since i'm running sportline springs on the front and i needed the clearance.
here's a thread on ls1.com that i put pics and actually a couple videos on if you wanna check them out. the part number for the gaskets and the size bolt ya need are listed in there somewhere too.
