Default Header dent, anyone know who can fix it?

I'm trying to get a header fixed before I buy it, but can't find anyone around here to do it. Any sponsors here that can do it? Here's some pics. There is no hole, just a big dent.

If I had a few more pictures........ naw just kidding. If you can weld, cut out the damaged area and replace it with another piece of pipe. Good luck!

You are going to need to replace that piece with another bend. You could possibly call Kooks Custom headers and see if they can do it for you or just buy a bend and have a local tig welder do it for you just make sure you see his welds first and trust he can do thin material with quality. Shouldn't cost you more than 100 I would think with all work if even close to that.

Grind a radius (ball end) on a rod of just under the diameter of the tube and drive it from the collector end with a large hammer until it comes out. It won't become completely smooth but good enough for flow.

It will help to heat it before you drive the rod into it.

wow, if i didnt know better i'd say those headers are stainless steel hand welded, one of a kind longtubes that fit better/go in easier than any production header on the market! and you say they are for sale too!.. with a wideband bung allready in the y pipe?? wow

and they used to look like this

http://community.webshots.com/photo/...65000174ybGEjc
http://community.webshots.com/photo/...65000188RFZaQr

wonder what they are worth.. the dent and the y-pipe both need some work.
