LS1 Throttle Body Compatability

LS1 Throttle Body Compatability Recently bought an LS1 removed from a 97 C5 and would like to replace the drive by wire TB with a cable operated one. Can I use any LS1 TB, or must I use one from a 97 LS1?

You could use any year but like socmguy said they changed the cam size. They smaller cam on the 97-99 just allows it to hit wide open throttle quicker. Doubt youll notice a difference though.
