Default What do I need for ram air????

I'm almost ashamed to even ask this question but I just recently purchased a ram air hood for my non ram air TA so what all do I need to buy and or fab to make my hood ram air functional? Yes I've searched and couldn't really find any good answers. Thanks in advance for any help!

Depends how you want to go about the process, technically their "ram air" is the same thing as air induction/intake. I know for sure you could get the lower air intake box off a stock ws6 (in parts classifieds, etc.) and that will work to create the GM style oem system. However, the Volant intake system looks like it could be a real good route to go w/ a hood.

And then if you dont want to do that and have the hood to be fully functional, you can always go with a lid and a fast toys ram air or ssra system for similar gains.

Hope that helps.

I guess I just need to see the whole stock system to understand what I need to go the route of using the hood and yes that did help me understand what other options I had. Thanks!

Why bother making it functional really...it doesn't make a difference.

I would try to make it functional too if I where you. Even if it doesn't make some mass amount of power, you might as well have the nostrails plgs with plastic if it didn't work. Might as well have a mustang then....JK.
