Default Question for anyone thats installed a Pacesetter y-pipe lately.....

Mine is rattling on the drivers side right before the first bend into the y, where the floorboard is raised. I have about a 1/4" clearance there. The pipe is even flatened on that side and its still has no clearance. I tried a piece of heater hose in there but it gives you a nice vibration in the floor, also thought about taking it off and beating on the floorboard a bit, but I hate to do that. I just dont see how the thing can be adjusted down, i've got a ton of clearance on the passenger side . Its the new 2-piece design pipe. If anyone has any tips on adjusting this thing i'd appreciate it.

thanks
pat

Mufflex LS1 F-Body Y-Pipe Bumpstop Hanger from Thunder Racing. I didn't use it, but I heard it works. I put new poly trans mount and poly torque arm mount and mine went away.

Thanks guys, I'm going to do a little re-adjusting tommorow and see where that gets me. May have to end up doing the poly mounts as much as I hate to get into that. This pipe does fit too close on the driverside but my ground clearance is much better which is nice, now i'm not scraping everywhere I go.

I beat the floorboard up some on both of my f-bodies, got rid of the vibration/banging 100%.
