Default Ls6 intake install how hard?

How hard is it to switch out my old intake for a ls6 intake? I have one in the mail and I was just wondering... and about how long does it usually take?

It's not very hard at all. Even easier if you have someone to help out the bolts and stuff. It can take between 2-4 hours usually. Make sure to check your gaskets to see if they're still good or not.

That's the one I used. There are a few others floating around here somewhere. Just take your time, watch for the oil pressure sending unit, don't let the brake booster hose snag on it. And when you go to pull it out, check the back of the manifold and make sure you disconnected everything.

Check out ls1howto.com There's a pretty good ls1 to ls6 intake swap write up.

took me and 2 buddies about 4 hours to do, but half that time we were trying to hack up the EGR pipe lol. Honestly not a very hard install...

Took me about 3 hours all by myself. Not had at all, and if your careful pulling it out, you won't break that damn oil pressure sending unit (I didn't break mine).
