Default Pulled spark plugs...weird reading

Im having a fuel issue at wot with my car I puleld my plugs today and I found this. Ive never seen anything like it before. WHy would half of my plug be black/dark and the other half CLEAN brand new looking? Its on every spark plug like this. Its also a defined line where it goes black to white on the plug its not like a fading color. Any ideas? The plugs are tr55's

Mine looked like that too. I didn't have any problems, only about 800 miles on the plugs.

I think that's the side of the plug that is closest to the combustion chamber.

In the "olden days" guys would "degree" their plugs, making the opening closest to the chamber using small washers.
