Default Low coolant

When I started my car 99 T/A, the low coolant light came on. Then it goes off. I checked the coolant and the level was fine. It has come on when the engine is cold and when its hot, so it seems there is no rhyme or reason to it. It has not overheated according to the POS gauge. Any ideas.

Sounds like you may have bad coolant level sensor... It's on the passenger side of the radiator side tank just below the filler cap.

You could check to make sure the connector is plugged in good...

The sensor gets dirty from the junk in your radiator as well,( changed it lately?) most of the time all you need to do is clean it. good to go
