Default Just installed Fast 90/90 first impressions

First off I'm just a bolt on car for now, so I know I won't see the bigger gains like a H/C car. The install was straight forward, just like a LS6 swap, only difference was the valley cover bolts. The car seems to have lost a little torque under 3000, but she pulls hard up top. I haven't played with the tune yet, but I'm happy with it so far. Hopefully I'll be able to get back on the dyno to see the gains since I added my ASP and 90/90. I'd like to break 360 rwhp and was at 353 before. I'd also like to see the gains from the track.

Post up the results of hp gains if any. I have considered putting one my car but I haven't yet--it is an auto. I have a fast 90/90 sitting in a box and need to do with it eventually. good luck.

Ported or no? I hear that ported really cleans up and boosts the midrange. Yes some results would be nice too

I "cleaned" up the wedge, but didn't go any farther with it. Don't really have the funds to have it ported

Well after some more driving today, you can tell the car picked up power. The midrange feels better also. I don't know if the computer had to relearn or what, but I'm highy impressed with it. Also, the Fast 90 tb is working like a charm. I had to adjust the throttle cable a little and it works like stock. I will say that one of the holes for the IAC weren't tapped, but it is sealed for now.

yeah, I installed a FAST 90/90 setup for a girl I knew w/ bolt ons. Pretty disappointed at first too. Then with the cam in, it really opened up. Good SOTP feeling at the top end. I don't reccomend spending the money on one unless you already have H/C.

I've put just under 100 miles on my car after installing the Vengeance ported FAST 90/90 and I definitely feel like it picked up power everywhere. I'm currently running speed density right now as I'm dialing in my VE tables, but the throttle response and power under 3000 has increased and top end is amazing. Once I get it fully tuned with the aid of a wideband, I'll throw it on the dyno and see what kind of gains I made. I'm hoping for 25-30hp and 15-20ft/lbs of torque.

I too was afraid of the rumors that you'd lose low end torque, but I'm not sure if it's my sd tune or the intake, but it is definitely a worthwhile mod for any h/c motor.
