Default ported tb? epoxy or not?

hey guys thinking of getting a mildly ported tb, it has epoxy and drill mod done. what does epoxy do and is it better or not?

As far as the epoxy is concerned, people have their own opinions on that. If its done correctly with the right epoxy and drilled out to the right size, then its great for smoothing out the incoming airflow and really reduces turbulence. If its not done correctly then it can become a problem. The drill mod will not work with your car though. People drill out the tb blade when they install a large cam without a tune just to get it to idle. If you put that on a stock cammed car you car will idle 300-400 rpm higher and maybe higher.

Just buy one from smokin87ta I got mine from him and noticed a result even thoough I had a crappy port job on my original one. I was woried about that also and My epoxy is still there!
