Default Throttle Body sticking issues

Throttle sticking, especially in the WOT position is a truly dangerous condition and one that should not be taken lightly, or left as "I heard that".

If you have had a problem with throttle sticking, please think about these questions carefully.

Have you had a throttle TB linkage problem that you could isolate to the TB itself, not related to cable or pedal?

Who makes the TB and what was causing it to stick?

Did you send it back to the manufacturer?

Failing that, sand the edge of the blade just a little bit with some high grit paper.

You could also take off the blade and use the same high grit paper to sand around where the throttle blade would rest. Polish with aluminum polish kit from Harbor Freight if you want to make it all nice and purty!
