Default Attention....Formula owners with Corsa Catback

I want to put a Corsa catback on my Formula Firehawk. I am concerned about the tips sticking out too far. I like for the tips to tuck cleanly under the bumper because of the formula bumper. I have done a lot of searching on this, but I want to know for sure if this is what I want to do.

How far does the tips stick out on a Formula?

I would like to see some pics of Corsa on a Formula also.

Thank You,

Brent

I know it might not be the best answer but I changed to trans am rear bumper because any kind of tips on a formula bumper look kind of weird because its all hanging out.

I had some Corsa clones on my old exhaust. I had them tucked under the bumper .....They looked really good pushed a little further back.

Well, I bought my car with the Corsa on it, and the guy that put it on did a TERRIBLE job lining it up. The tips were all messed up. When I did headers, we realigned the tips so now it looks good. Problem is, all my pictures are BEFORE the catback was realigned.

Here's the way they WERE:

Sagging like your grandmother's chesticles.

I don't have a picture of what my tips look like FIXED, but I do have a movie that illustrates what they look like:

Now that I'm thinking about it, this pic may help illustrate how far the tips hang out better:

Again, this is when my tips were sagging, so they are hanging out a lot more in this picture than they should be. The guy that installed the catback had about half an inch of the tailpipes into the muffler. I'm surprised after years of driving they haven't fallen off. I wouldn't be surprised if the previous owner installed it in his driveway on jackstands. That's what happens when you wing an install in your driveway...

If you don't mind single tips consider the Gibson stainless exhaust. With their bolt on tips you can adjust how far in or out they are.
