Default Correct shape/angle for the left stock tail pipe?

The tail pipe shown in the photo is the second I've bought (manufacturer-pre-bent) and both were this shape. I would have thought it should be an exact 90 degree right angle from the muffler but it's more like 110 degrees (unless I should have installed the muffler at a slight angle too to compensate)??? If I install it like this it comes out the back pointing to the left a bit. Anyone know if this is how it should be? -I'm in the UK so garages don't know. I've drawn a right angle next to it how I think it should be?

thanks

I don't know what year you're dealing with but I can tell you thet the left/driver side tail pipe on my 2002 SS was not at 90*. When they weld the oem tip on the left side it is cocked a bit on the pipe to get it to look right.

I used to have a hooker catback and he tailpipe was not a perfect 90* either. I thought it looked funny but when installed the tips were in the right place.

thanks guys -that reassures me .. my tips are straight (not the originals) so I'm going to have to get someone to bend it straight a bit..
