Default Plugging holes in a truck intake manifold

Is there some trick way to plug unwanted holes in a truck intake manifold?? I'm doing a swap using a '04 5.3L and there are 3 ports in the manifold that I won't be using. To add complexity, the motor is getting turbocharged, so the plugs need to be pretty stout. These holes vary in size from a little over .4" to .550" in ID. I was thinking about trying to use simple brass pipe plugs but thought I'd ask for advice first!
