No an 85mm will not work. An 80mm will but why not just run a ported stocker? Cheaper and flows about the same as an aftermarket 80mm. I had an 85mm tb i was going to try to make fit on my ls6 intake but decided it was going to take to much work to do. I say ls6 and ported stocker or step up to a 90/90. Tim

Actually ported stockers are only 75mm. You would be surprised at how well they flow and will usually out flow an aftermarket 80mm off the shelf. Now if you take some time and port the 80mm it is going to flow better. You might be talking a total of +-2hp in either form though. Most will say save the money and spend it elsewhere. Tim
