Anyone ever cut this part out of their intake?

if you are talking about descreening the maf, you can find info on that I wouldn't reccomend it though.

no can do without a speed ensity tune, but stock one is good up until 550ish rear wheel, so get ot that point first

That's kind of a half truth answer. Is the calibration and electronics good to 550'ish rwhp, yes. But the flow becomes a restriction much lower than that, hence the reason that GM went with the 85mm maf in the ls2's I beleive.

If you've got a 90mm intake manifold and throttle body, you're stock, or even ported MAF is going to be a flow restriction.

My suggestion, if you've spent the money on a FAST 90/90 combo, get a larger MAF and a Fast Toys 90mm intake.
