Engine Starter Mounting Problem
Has anyone had problems with Powermaster starters?
I recently returned my Model 9509 starter because the dimensions are off.
The Powermaster starter's mounting block is off by .076” from the factory starter making mounting the starter to the block impossible because the holes do not match up. I've measured the two starters with a digital caliper for accuracy.
It seems like the mounting block must be machined.
If other people are having this problem, I would like to know what the fix is.
