Performance predictions
My goal for my WS6 Trans Am is to get into the high 12 second range without doing any internal engine mods, headers, power adders (ie. nitrous, supercharger), or ring and pinion swap. Also, I'd like to keep my 20+ MPG city, 27 MPG highway. Is this realistic? I think I may be close to my goal. I am installing my Hooker catback system this week, then I will make a trip to the nearest drag strip to test it out ASAP.
Here's what I've got...
01 WS6 Trans Am M6
-second hood baffle removed
-SLP airbox lid
-K&N air filter
-descreened MAF sensor
-SLP smooth bellows
-throttle body bump stop mod
-SLP 160 degree thermostat
-throttle body bypass mod
-SLP manual fan control switch
-gutted cats
-SLP y-pipe
-Hooker 3" catback system
-skip shift eliminator
-Lakewood lower control arms (rear)
-polyurethane trans. mount
-polyurethane torque arm mount
Thanks for any words of wisdom or predictions!
