TB cable problem.

TB cable problem. I just put on my LS6/ported TB and I have a lil problem.
The TB i put on is from an '01 and has a different style guide for the throttle cable. The one off mine is shorter. BTW I have a '99.
Anyways my question is...is there anyway you can get more slack out of the cable? Or swap over the guide for the throttle cable from my '99 TB?
