Default GTO alternator on an Fbody?

I am putting a 2004 gto alternator on my 2002 trans am. The plug on the side of the gto alternator is differnt compared to the fbody alt. What I need to know is which wire do I need to use of the pigtail for the gto alt to solder into the fbody harness?

aren't the amperage ratings for those alternators different?? If so that would probably be a problem

the gto alternator amp output is higher than the fbody, i think. I am just tryiing to use it becuase i have it sitting on the shelf, rather than buy a new one.
