Homemade coldair, how much piping? where?
ive got a ls1swapped c4 vette so i cant just get a coldair kit, im going to have to make my own.
Whats the best way to do this?? How far should the massair be from the throttle body, and how much piping should i have on the massair sensor before the airfilter???
Right now i have the bellows on the throttle body with the MAF on the other end 6" away, and the airfilter directly on the end on the maf, all of it right in front of the throttle body....

I have some pics of my set up. It is a rectangular funnel on top of the radiator where the air box used to be. It faces the nostrils which goes into the MAF. I need someone to host them.

I made my own ram air out of some stainless steel for the scoops. I don't know what kind of room you have to work with, but mine worked out pretty good since there wasn't enough room for any sort of tubing. Just an idea if your tight on space.
