You should be able to find a good used LS6 intake in the classified section for $300-$350. I don't think new ones cost $500 if you want to go that route.

If you're looking for a FAST intake, you'll need to spend a little more.

If your not in a hurry just keep looking in the classified section. I found a brand new one on here with new gaskets for $325. You can find the average used one on here for $300 all day. What are your performance mods? Do you already have most of the bolt on's? The reason why I ask is because if you dont already have most of the bolt on's there's better bolt on's to do first IMO.

The parts add up if you choose to go the LS6 coolant pipe route as I did and if you break your oil pressure sending unit like I and many others have.
That being said you can still get a good used LS6 intake and have enough money to get the new coolant pipes if you go that route.

Paid $375 shipped for an LS6 intake and a TB which I gave to my brother since he needed one.
