Default Do LS1 intakes have no EGR???

Just curious, if the intake manifold has no EGR, does that mean its an LS6 manifold? Or is there some LS1 manifold that dont have EGR? just curious because if i go to a wrecking yard and check them out. thanks for any input

Don't quote me, but I think LS1 manifolds that came on Corvettes did not have EGR, therefore from the top looked the same as an LS6 intake. If its a 2001 then it will for sure be an LS6 intake. Best bet is to just check the parts number or look at the bottom of the intake if it is off of the motor.

97-00 vette's had ls1 intakes w/o egr..best way to tell other than checking the part# would be to look at the bottom of the intake manifold...the ls6 intake is flat where as the ls1 intake is wavy
