casting for ls6 heads ?

what is the casting number for ls6 heads ? isnt it 243 ?

243= LS2 and LS6

some dude told me he had ls6 heads on his car and i looked at them and they were 241 i was like ? i thought ls6 they were 243 casting i didnt say anything

If you want to be sure that they are LS6 heads look for little diamands in the castin under the exhaust ports where the head bolt holes are....

The newer ones have 2 casting numbers 799 and 243.
