Default header/cats install issues?

I am installing a set of MAC headers on my 99 SS. I purchased a kit with the ORP and will be adding Random CATs to meet emissions standards here in Vancouver. I have a pit at home and can install the MAC/ORP there. But I will need to take it to a shop to have the CATs fitted/welded. My question is will the short (less than 5 miles) drive to the muffler shop generating ses codes or other problems? Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I think you should be ok with the mid's. The shorties, or stock manifolds will warp the valves with straight headers . If anything your fuel economy may go down.
